A Windermere Regatta
1900-1907
Looking west across the head of Windermere. A fleet of yachts heads right in light wind with sails slack. Other dinghys and rowing boats among them. Steam yacht Britannia cruises alongside probably as private vessel prior to becoming a Furness Railway ferry. Possibly Swan off to the left. One rowing boat appears to be empty.
