Sunset. Windermere Yachts and Paddle Steamer Dodo
1900-1907
Looking west across the head of Windermere. Five yachts moored or sailing. The paddle steamer Dodo at a mooring with a dinghy astern. So named because she was launched in 1880 when paddle steamers were considered extinct. She became a houseboat in 1907. Loughrigg behind and Langdales on the horizon.
