Pier and Shore, Silloth

Looking west-southwest on a sunny afternoon from an elevated position among trees towards the mouth of the docks and the pier projecting from it. Below the trees, a couple sits, admiring the view, their pram parked in front of them with grass, a promenade, and terracing beyond. The tide is out and the sandy shore has a smattering of stones, particularly against the substantial tidal defences. Small cottages stand at the end of the promenade. The image is titled 'Pier and Shore, Silloth' for postcard printing purposes.
