Kingmoor Marshalling Yard under construction
Mid 20th century
Looking south at a train including a crane on track in the mid-distance which crosses other tracks at an angle on an apparently new bridge, with workers around. A signal box may be seen through the new bridge while a sandstone arched bridge nearer the camera is in the process of demolition. Location is probably where the Carlisle-Edinburgh line crossed the main Glasgow-London main line to the south of Kingmoor House. See 358 to 371.
