Savoy Hotel and Promenade

Early C20th

Taken from just south of the Savoy Hotel on Queen's Promenade, looking north. The Mount offers public and private apartments. An ornate shelter is well-used by the people waiting for trams, one is just passing advertises Powell's Biscuits/Cream Crackers. Two cars and another tram are further north. An extension is being built at the rear of the Savoy.
