Sunken Gardens and Promenade
Early C20th
Tram going to Squires Gate. World War One memorial Tank 275 opposite the Savoy Hotel, which has horse-drawn vehicles waiting outside. The Mount public and private apartments are further up the North Shore. It's high tide, and a few pedestrians are scattered on the pavement and in the Sunken Gardens.
