Pleasure Beach The Reel
1923
The Virginia Reel, named after the designer's daughter, was built at the Pleasure Beach in 1922, and closed in 1982. One of the round cars can be seen lower right, just above the tunnel. The people loading the cars (bottom right) appear to be dressed as clowns. Behind The Reel is the Water Chute, and Novelty Corner is advertising a Racing Game and a Windmill Game.
