St Chad's Terrace
Early C20th
An imposing 4 storey Terrace at the corner of St Chad's Road and the Promenade/A584 facing the sea. On the left is St Chad's Private Hotel, then Yorkshire House, further right Brunswick Boarding House, with the accommodation on the extreme right illegible. Pedestrians are walking past, one carrying a young child. Tram tracks are in the foreground, with a wide road beyond. Now (2021) the whole is St Chad's Hotel, substantially remodelled with no chimneys.
