On The Deck Of The Tug Walney

Post 1904

A group of soldiers on board the tug with what looks like a couple of well dressed dignitaries. 2 sailors going about their work with thick ropes. The one on the right looks as if he's either about to tie up or cast off. Built 1904, it was operated by the Furness Railway as a tug and passenger transport.
