Millom Rail Crash
21 Feb 1913
A number of workmen, dignitaries and a policeman pose alongside the crashed carriage. The carriage had demolished a signal box which can be seen behind. The signalman, Mr J. Holmes, escaped with minor cuts. The wheel examiner, Mr Jones, who was in a small wheel-examiner's hut behind, escaped unhurt. See 4021 to 4031
