Looking north at southbound platform with full view of level crossing with gates closed to road traffic. Siding on east of tracks with buffers near the road wall where there is a pile of bricks. Station master, two porters and a man on the platform. The signalman is at the signal box door. Two porter's trolleys on southbound platform. A house facing the road on east side of level crossing. Black Combe behind.
