"Having a lovely holiday at Grange. Goodweather on the whole,but a bit on the cool side. Walked to Kents Bank last night. Went to Grasmere and the six lakes on Tuesday. Been to Ulverston today. I was amazedat the size of it. I expected it to be a good sized village. Been to Flookburgh and Cartmel. We think the latter is a lovely place. Thanks for your card & letter. Will write when we get home.”
