Ravenglass Station

1910s

Looking north-west from the footbridge south of the station. Two trains in the picture; a passenger train stopped on the southbound platform with a crowded platform and a goods train on the northbound track but facing south. Two children and some women are on the northbound platform in front of the station master's house and waiting room looking towards the trains. Sidings on the right with covered goods shed and four wagons with hand operated crane.
