Date Posted: The photo is taken from approximately half way down Wrynose Pass on its Western side. Wrynose bottom is at the foot of the pass, where the lonely Cockley Beck farm is located at the head of the Duddon Valley. Hardknott pass climbs westwards from Wrynose Bottom, crossing the col to the north of Harter Fell before dropping into the Eskdale Valley. Harter Fell is the hill seen in the distance on the left skyline
