View down from the junction with the Esplanade. On the right, Lancaster Banking Company Limited. People outside another shop, on Ordnance Survey 1910 as the Post Office. Three people crossing the road and a horse and cart. Gates to a drive in the centre as the road turns. On the left, the wall of the churchyard, advert for rooms to let, a dog and Hankinson's Chemist. Several shops have awnings.
