"Janet and I have been most fortunate in finding at the very last minute, a very pleasant and peaceful place to stay in Eskdale about -five mins?- out of Grasmere; and we are having a delightful time. Lots of short walks around and beautiful places to sit with magnificent views of mountains. I do hope you have managed some little holiday - how are things with your Aunt?
