"Dear Mother & Dad Arrived safely about 2pm. We have been on the beach, it was very wild but grand. I don't know about 9 st. I shall be 11. We have told her not to bring as much. This card won't come till Tuesday, but I've written Sat. Hope you have good weather. It has rained but we managed. Love Rita xx”
