"4/9/35 Arrived here at rather a slack time - the place being only about half full. The swimming bath is quite good, but too warm temperature being about 78! However as the sea is rather rough & weather cold we bathe twice daily here. Had a talk & show here last night - Michael -unreadable- so we went to the local -unreadable- Love John {not entirely clear-”
