View east across Windermere at the head of the lake to the Wateredge Hotel taken from a boat. A small motor launch is in the centre of the frame. To the left, the hotel garden has lots of people at tables. To the right, the car park has a number of cars parked including Sankey’s Morris. Rowing boats are drawn up on the shore by the landing stages.
