The view north west from the original road up the dale. Stickle Bridge just ahead with Great Langdale Beck on the left being joined by Stickle Gill emerging under the bridge. Behind left is the New Dungeon Ghyll Hotel. The mass of the Langdale Pikes fills the background. Telephone pole at the bridge. No dating evidence but in series with images C.1930.
