Date Posted: | The Devonshire Dock was completed in 1867. The post card states picture taken from a Vickers Crane, there are no longer any permanent tower cranes on site, portable ones are used now. B.A E. Systems now owns this company. The dock has been developed sustantially, especially in the 1980's with the building of Devonshire Dock Hall, where submarines are built under cover . | |
