Ulverston Station

Looking west at Ulverston from top of the steps beside the goods station. Picture taken at 1.10 pm (before 5817, 5818, as station clock is visible on all images). Refreshment trolley on island platform with passenger. A pssenger train ( Lakeside train?) sits at right-hand platform powered by a tank locomotive, bunker first. Two smart men on the island platform are walking away from the camera. A westbound train at platform one with man looking out of third class carriage which is in front of goods van with its doors open on the north side. A water crane for locomotives is on the right of the tracks. Strong sun makes sharp print.
