Holmrook and Wasdale
Mid 1920s
View from the main road, A595, slightly to the left of D561 across the River Irt and down the length of Wasdale to the pyramid of Great Gable in the centre. Lingmell and The Screes are to the right and Yewbarrow, Middle Fell and Seatallan are to the left. The small building is the Reading Room. A woman with a basket and a horse are just squeezed in to far left.
