Honister and Buttermere
Mid 1920s
View west towards Buttermere above the lower bridge over Gatesgarthdale Beck as Honister Pass levels out in the valley. Skyline from the left is slopes of Fleetwith Pike, High Stile, High Crag and Red Pike. Walkers coming up the road in the far distance. Old fashioned road sign for bend on to the bridge.
