Saint Bega's Church

1910s

View of the church from the fields below. It is quite strikingly built from the local red and grey sandstone, topped with a slate roof and a small turret with a spire. The Church school is underneath the church. To the left is the post office garden with a large run with hens. The ivy covered house is the Village Stores on the far side of Smithybrow Lane.
