Early 20th century
Looking Northeast up Coniston Water from 'The Pinnel' (?Pen Hill) above Water Yeat. In the centre on the east shore is the white house at Water Park. Lakebank Ferry Pier on the west shore opposite. The Water Yeat Coniston road in the foreground. Bethecar moor on the horizon to the right with the track from Nibthwaite to Grizedale. Peel Island halfway up the lake.
