View Southwest from the edge of the bowling green below the Village Hall down across the village. A heavy roller is in the corner of the green and a horse with a cart loaded with sacks stands down in the lane. In the distance the Furness hills make the skyline on the far side of what is the Leven Estuary rather than Morecambe Bay as such.
