Looking west at the sidings in front of the engine shed. Four 0-6-0 and one 4-4-0 engines are posed with men who have been cleaning them during the National Railway Strike in 1919. Four soldiers, one with a rifle and tin hat, are on guard duty. Engine shed chimneys in background.
