Looking south-east and silhouetted against the afternoon sun, a rail-mounted crane stands against the rail at the edge of the quay, against which a small paddle tug is moored. At the edge of the quay, a man peers over the rail at the tug. Beyond the reflection of the sun in the estuary waters, the fells of Low Furness form a backdrop to the scene.
