View of the Lembit going down the slipway at the top yard, with its sister submarine Kalev standing by to be launched 30 minutes later. The Lembit had the distinction of operating for two allies' navies during World War Two, the Estonian and Soviet. The Lembit is still in existence to-day at a museum in Tallinn
