Orient Line Orcades
July 1937
Orcades in Ramsden Dock in preparation to depart Barrow Docks, tugs it attendance to assist. Built for the Orient line for the Australia and New Zealand run. Orcades was requisitioned by the Admiralty during World War Two and used as a troopship, until sunk by U172 off South Africa in 1942.
