Strathallan enters Walney Channel, with drag chains fully tensioned. Built for P&O, Srathallen was launched on 29th September 1937 but was requisitioned by the Admiralty during World War Two and used as a troop and hospital ship until sunk by U172 in the Mediterranean during December 1942.
