Launch of IoM boat Fenella

Fenella going down the slipway and entering Walney Channel with Walney in the background, small boats in attendance. Built for Isle of Man Steam Packet Company and launched on 16 Dec 1936, she was requisitioned by the Admiralty during WW2 and used for the evacuation of troops from Dunkirk were she was sunk with a great loss of life, many of them Manx crew members.
