A two masted schooner, dressed in bunting, is anchored in the Wyre on a rising tide. There is a crowd of men and women on the deck and a small Midland Railway steam tug is on the Starboard side. Small sailing boats and rowing boats are in the channel. Knott End and the ferry are seen in the distance.
