Ship in the middle of Ramsden Dock Basin. Lines ashore to south side of dock. Picture taken from south side of dock entrance. Travelling crane and railway wagons on north side of dock. Buccleuch Dock crane in distance. Passenger / cargo ship completed 1881 by Barrow Shipbuilding Company for Barrow Steam Ship Company (Later Anchor Line). Worked Glasgow - New York Route. November 1911 sold to Thos W Ward Ltd, and partly dismantled at Barrow, before being towed to Preston and finally demolished there in 1912. See 1244, 1247 and 1257
