Isle of Man Packet Steamer leaving Fleetwood making smoke and leaving a large wash of white water. Many passengers on after deck. Launched March 1887 by The Fairfield Shipbuilding and Engineering Company, Govan. She was out of service by 1915. Built for the Manx line operating from Liverpool to compete against Isle of Man Steamship boats from Fleetwood. At 22.5 knots it was successful and the Isle of Man Packet Company bought her and her sistership and they proved reliable ships. They were taken up by the navy and scrapped after WW1.
