View of pilot cutter slowly going south with one man visible at the stern and towing a dinghy. HF on sail and No 2 on bow. Assumed to be Heysham and Fleetwood Pilot Boat Leader. Leader F.2 was built by John Gibson and sons Fleetwood in 1897. Owned by self employed Messrs. Ball Edwards, Iddon and McCall. Painting at Lancaster Museum.
