Steam trawler with W (Thos Wards) on funnel probably converted for towing duty for the scrap yard (similar to City of Liverpool 1920). Two prawner style sailing vessels and several dinghys moored in foreground. Negative plate missing a corner.Built in 1889 by Harland and Wolff for White Star Line. Served 26 years. Carried 166,363 passengers to the US and 113,524 back to the UK. Before scrapping she was open for tours as part of a agreement of the scrapyard has on tourism. The Titanic replaced her on the schedule before she sunk and then was reinstated.
