Australian Commonwealth Government liner facing south being held by a tug. Tug Walney visible at the bow. Two funnel tug at stern. As an armed merchantman she engaged Admiral Scheer off Iceland and was sunk while the convoy she was protecting largely escaped. Captain Fogerty Fegen was posthumously awarded Victoria Cross.
